The recruitment team I initially worked with faced significant challenges in hiring qualified teachers on time for requests from 16 schools. The difficulties stemmed from two main issues:
Tool Management: It was hard to keep track of six different tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Gmail) simultaneously, leading to inefficiencies and errors.
Repetitive Manual Tasks: The team spent a long time on repetitive tasks, such as creating emails and generating weekly reports, which slowed down the hiring process.
I proposed the development of an integrated and automated recruitment tool using AirTable, successfully convincing my managers and leading the project from scratch:
Collaborated with 8 recruiters and candidates to gain field insights, thoroughly understanding the existing recruitment process and identifying key pain points.
Automated over 63% of manual tasks in the recruitment process, significantly improving efficiency and accuracy.
Scaled the solution to other departments, including Sales and Finance, to streamline their processes as well, and on average automated 50% of manual tasks.
